Frequently Asked Questions

What program do you use to make all of your graphics?

Nothing fancy- just Google Docs or Google Slides. It's basically an online (free) version of Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint. They have a pretty good selection of fonts to choose from and an easy-to-use interface. Their photo editing capabilities are not the best, but I haven't yet splurged to purchase Adobe Photoshop yet. Maybe one day...

How did you make this website?

I use Wix.com to host this website (the paid version). I like that it is very user-friendly since I do not have any coding knowledge. It has a lot of features that you can just "drag and drop" anywhere then edit to your heart's content. It is probably not the best host now that I have a bit more knowledge of website design. However, I am happy with it overall. If I were to do it again, I might have used WordPress instead.

What are you using to study for the AP/CP Pathology Board Exams?

I am currently going through the Osler Institute Online review course for AP/CP Pathology Board exams. I will supplement that with various question banks (online and books available). I will keep you updated.

Are you going to start selling your notes?

Haha...Maybe. Do you want to be my first customer?

Do you accept donations?

I feel humbled and honored by the amount of people that have reached out and want to show their appreciation via monetary donation. I made this website as an artsy release from the rigid life at the hospital. While I do it for fun and as a means to study, it does take a lot of time and commitment. If you would like to donate, I do have Venmo and PayPal if you are interested...

How can I contact you?

As any resident/fellow/pathologist knows, a life in medicine includes staying pretty busy. The best way to contact me is via email (tmgraham@uabmc.edu) or via a direct message on Twitter (@HeartPathology). If you don't hear from me within 48 hours, please send another message. I may have just missed your first one.
